Known Bugs and Limitations

General

• Long Lines (with CONTINUE cards) are not displayed correctly in the header viewer (this is almost definitely a PyFITS? issue)
• No ability to insert header lines
• Multiple file header viewer is barely usable
• Options are not operational yet.
• No export file functionality
• Behavior for New Projects/open projects is not much different.
• Wavesamp cache is not saved/restored.
• More precision on the RA/DEC in the table
• Notes from an image should be transferred to the spectrum
• Time stamp in notes does not work

• Image Viewer needs to be updated
• Export Image does not work

Extraction

• Extraction does not produce enough documentation.
• Optimal extraction is not working yet
• Manual extraction is not working yet
  • Partial Collapse
  • Extraction from order not in image causes error due to PSF_FOV lookup
• No Local Sky Subtraction
• Extraction Errors are not presented to the user
• Change collapse to Median instead of mean
• No way for automatic extraction results to be put into specific branch

Spectra

• Line Fitter does not work correctly
• No Black Body fitter
• SpecOps does not work yet
• Functions need to be reintroduced into Spectrum Viewer
• Spectrum Viewer needs to be updated
• HI-RES orders need to be rearranged in the GUI
• Zero axis
